Love...

Well, I've definitely done it, I've touched one of the forbidden topics in my book; LOVE. You know, guys, if I will spell LOVE for you, I would spell it like this: T-R-O-U-B-L-E. I mean, seriously, how much trouble could LOVE bring?!

A typical teenager would, of course, one way or another be lovesick. I mean, who hasn't gone through this phase? Love is such a big deal to people, I speak for my group because every single one of them has some kind of problem with love...

I guess the reason why most of the people choose not to bother with it is because it is TOO MUCH trouble. There might not be such a thing as loving someone too much, but there is something like having too much trouble loving 'em. I don't contest that someone abolish love, that's quite out of the blue and downright impossible.

I would just like to contest whether or not love is worth the trouble! I mean, seriously, if you were to commit suicide over a misplaced word that made your special someone dump you, It seems irrational. Unless of course you're the emotionally imbalanced person, then something like this COULD push you to commit suicide.

I mean, how come love could make us so suicidal? Well, dying for someone whom you love and loves you back is something, but dying for the person who has not a care in the world for you, well, that's an entirely different story.

Okay, so, given this example: A girl has a boyfriend who seems as though he is flirting with this other girl. The first girl becomes jealous and gets dramatic over it. The boy seems as though he has not a care in the world. Eventually they break up. The girl wants him back so badly but the boy shows not a care in the world again. Do you think this love is worth the trouble of going through?

I think not! I mean, seriously, it's too much to worry about life's day to day problems. The problem love brings is just too much to handle for some people and they end up in the next day's newspaper obituaries.

So if you ask me if love is worth the trouble. I would say that even though it's okay with me, it really depends on the situation. Now, I can't help but wonder...

Hay nako, eto na naman tayo... Tulad na naman ng sinasabi ko dati. Nakiki "IN" parin siya! Parang sira na tipong lahat ng gawin ng mga popular na kabataan sa klase ay ginagaya. Di lang iyon, diba ang SARAP batuhin ng tsinelas ang mga pusang napaka ingay pag gabi? Ganoong ganoon siya!

Lahat na lang ng marinig, inuulit! Nakakabwisit na talaga. Bakit kaya may taong ganoon ano? Yung lahat ng ginagawa ng mga malilibog at malulutong magmura ay ginagaya? Isa pa! Ang LAKI ng galit sa mga bading! Diyos ko! Okay lang sana kung magmura siya ng buong araw kaso, pati buhay ng iba, pinakikialaman!

Alam mo, kung nakasama ko siya ng buong araw, alam ko ang sasabihin niya, bagkus, ISISIGAW niya buong araw "Paiyak na daw si Paulo nung kumanta!!" Nakakabanas hindi po ba?

Isa pa pala, itong pusang ito ay yung tipong NAPAKALAKAS manlait pag natalo ka sa iskor sa exam. Pero pag ikaw yung nakatalo sa kanya, parang pinatay mo na yung magulang niya. Pag inuulit mo yung mga sinasabi mo sasabihin niya:

A Whole New World?

Nikki's B-day party yesterday... had a great time, to be honest... Karaoke all day long? haha, no seriously...

I almost cried when I sang Can You Feel the Love Tonight(Elton John version)... GOT A 94 too!

Buwisit! Nakakita na ba kayo ng taong kung makakilos ay parang nasa "IN crowd" siya pero hindi naman? Yung parang alam niya lahat? Yung parang ganun lang dahil gusto niya maging popular pero hindi naman bagay? Yung tipong, kahit acting mo ay sinusubukang gayahin dahil lang gusto mapataas yung grade? Nakakaloka diba?

Hay nako, nakakairita. Saan ka ba nakakita ng taong mura ng mura, hataw ng hataw, bitaw ng bitaw ng mga salitang di nauukol pero di naman bagay sa kanya? Kung yung mga popular nga na mga binatilyo sa klase ay may oras para mag mura at mag saya at mag isip ng malilibog na bagay, bakit yung wala sa grupong iyon, mas madalas pa magmura kaysa sa kanila?

Tignan mo nga naman, lahat ginagawa para lang "MAPABILANG." Punto ko ay di naman bagay sa kanila! Yung tipong, lahat na lang ng bagay minumura, lahat na lang nakikitang nakataas ang gitnang daliri niya.

Ang sarap nila batukan nang matauhan, yun ay kung hindi ka binabatukan dahil lamang sa pagtawa! Alam mo yung tipong lahat ng ginagawa ng mga nasa popular na grupo ginagawa.

Morrow's dawn..

Been a while since I've felt this happy. I feel as though little can be done to avert it. There may still be a few kinks here and there but what the heck! I'm happy!

I've decided to let go already. Haha... No one knows what I'm talking about? Good... haiii... It will only be a waste of precious time and tears to pursue her. I guess it's time to put an end to it.

GEC in the Philippines

Global economic crisis, it's practically everywhere. I mean, seriously, It's everywhere, on the news, in the morning paper, in the blogs of countless people in the world, you name the place and I bet you could find some evidence for this. I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but, guys, if you think it hasn't hit the RP yet, you're DELUSIONAL.

The crisis has hit us, of course because of our dependency on imported materials. The government says that "SUPPOSEDLY;" quote, SUPPOSEDLY they are doing something to avert it in our country. If you ask me, I have to say, "I don't think so..." I mean, guys, if they were doing something then there won't be any people dying of hunger in our country.

IF and only IF we could get a corruption free government. I bet, that we would be prosperous, perhaps even the richest country in the world. IF and only If... chances are, it won't happen.

What could we do against it? Ladies and gentlemen of the jury I contest that we close our walls to the economic crisis. We could become a self sufficient country, at least for a while. Our current democratic type of government is "By the people, of the people and for the people" BUT I don't think so. I contest that we purge our government of corrupt officials and create a better future for us as a nation.

I cry "A Better tomorrow!!"

Take a Stand on Charter Change

Charter change, from what I know is a process through which our republic-democratic form of government would be changed into a parliamentary one. This change would then make the senate president the prime minister of the country, with the senate acting as a legislative, executive and judicial body, may hap.

The senate would be the one to elect the prime minister who will have all the power over the country. He/she would be able to remove members from the senate.

Word is, that PGMA would be running for senate president in the 2010 election. If ever Cha-cha would push through, she would then become the prime minister. If this were to happen, the senate could move against her, BUT, before they can do so, she could sack them from their places and replace them with her allies.

According to the government, Cha-cha is SUPPOSEDLY good for our country. Cha-cha is SUPPOSEDLY for the benefit of the public. One can say "Oh! Then that's good!" If so, then why does the public revolt against the idea? Why does the public scream at the top of its lungs "Stop Cha-cha!!"

We have no means to prove that there are some sinister intentions behind it. That this is simply a ploy to keep PGMA in power. Then again, we have no means to prove that it is benevolent act, bent upon inspiring the people and keeping the flame of hope burning in their hearts.

Besides, I don't think now is the time for Cha-cha. Seeing as how the world is suffering from the economic crisis, I believe that it is only a waste of time and valuable money to go through the long arduous process of getting this change approved. I believe that it will only bring about more problems than it will solve.

So I say "No to cha-cha!" What do you say?

Freedom to Choose or Fate?

Guys, if you were asked; which do you believe in, Freedom to Choose or Fate? Which one will you pick? Personally, I would go for a compromise between the two. I mean, D'oh, of course, we have a predetermined fate. However, that does not mean that we cannot change it.

Over the course of our lives, we make many choices. Some of these choices are difficult but some are extremely easy. It's the choices we make and the paths that we take which give direction to our lives.

It's easy to say that you give up. What's harder to say is that you'll keep on going no matter what happens. Our lives are extremely malleable, yet they are also extremely fragile. Take for instance a master smith, forging a blade. He can hammer it easily, but takes care so that it will come out in finest shape.

I believe in fate, in the sense that we make our own fate. Whatever we do over the course of a lifetime determines how it will end. Of course, that is where the freedom to choose comes into the equation. If you let your life go downhill because all you do is believe in fate, then definitely you have a predetermined fate that is rapidly approacing: Misery. However, if all you do is take your life into your hands, then that could also be disastrous.

Point is, no matter what happens, we should balance these two things. There are times when we should leave things to circumstance, others, take them up ourselves. If you made bad choices in the past, don't regret them, rather, learn from them and grow in maturity from the experience.

Now I ask you, freedom to choose or fate?
