About Me

My photo
Writer, artiste, critic, debater, public speaker, pianist, singer, actor, pretty much a jack of all trades, that's me, 16 years old and going strong. My friends say I'm good at what I do, but honestly, I think I'm little more than mediocre. This is the story of my life.

Let this be our prayyy*cough*rr

Today was a run of the mill ordinary day. I half expected fish to fall from the sky. Not to mention, I almost looked forward to the shockwave of a massive nuclear explosion somewhere due to the reports of my classmates in our Social Studies subject. A quote from earlier in the day.

Sa lahat ng pinagsasasabing nuclear ng mga to, parang iniintay ko na lang na may sumabog kung saan diyan sa di kalayuan.
Honestly, I was surprised to not fall asleep in the middle of the day. Watching the movie King Arthur, my first question was "How come it's so different from the legend? I recall that Arthur was an apprentice of Merlin who wasn't a 'Dark Mage' rather a benevolent wizard before he rose to kinghood."

After that, well, things were rather uneventful. BUT I DID GET A TWENTY IN OUR TLE PRACTICAL TEST!

After TLE and after things settled down, the chorale practiced. After a few runs, we managed to come up with something wholesome and pretty nice. There are still a few problems, but those can be worked out. BUT HONESTLY, LMO, did you have to bring up the issue of the "Chakang Lamok" thing?

Well, the story behind that is that last year, during a practice for our Integrated Project(to be referred to as IP from this point on) LMO recorded the drumbeat. A few moments into the recording, an inexplicable BUZZ is heard. So, we came to the conclusion that it was either the vibration of the phone or a supernatural presence. The latter gained more appeal.

So when that was brought up, a few dozen ghost stories were told and practice was ended with hushed fear.

Geez, what a day. The title? Oh, that's one of the chorale's problems in singing "The Prayer"

Ciao!

For a Wee Bird

"You who fell from the green above...
Crashed with the sound of a naught a needle
By fate we found you, innocent as a dove
But destiny decided, your life it will take"

Yeah, a bit strange for a beginning, but the thing is, yesterday my brother found a little bird. He said it fell from the tree that kinda extended above our veranda. I never really paid any attention and actually forgot about it until later on in the day. I was doing my normal thing, roleplaying, listening to epic music from the band "Two Steps from Hell" and playing Gyromancer which just happens to be an awesome game.

So yeah, there I was idly wasting the day away on things less important than studying which I adamantly refused to do on account of the stress it would cause me. On the other hand, though, I really was getting practice in my creative writing.

We had just recently recovered from the shock of a storm that was apparently worse than what the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomic Services Administration(PAG-ASA) had predicted. Anyway, back on track with the story. That afternoon to evening-ish, thunder was echoing and mind you, the peals were VERY loud.

Okay so, why did I remember the little hatchling? My dad asked me to step out into the veranda to see if it was flooding. It wasn't but then I saw the little bird, shivering in the chilling wind. I placed it near the metal door that opened into the veranda, and tried to forget about it, but guilt racked my insides. Eventually, I managed to convince my brother to bring it in, dry it and give it a cozy place to rest in.

Today, we left it under the tree, hoping its mother would come by and get it. Later on, it had vanished. I just hope it's in its nest and not in a cat's belly or not in some lump on the ground mangled and beaten and rotting. Oh I know I'm being morbid, but it's entirely possible.

Anyway, I realized how short life is and how lucky we are, as humans to not be like the animals at all. After all, imagine a human baby falling out of the nest and being forgotten about? It's inhuman... wait, it IS NOT human after all!

I dunno, I just find myself wanting to lock myself up in a LARGE volt with everyone important to me and everything I need until I die. That'll take the fun out of life though, and I'm not about ready to give that up. Maybe something from Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom can enlighted me...

"When you learn how to die, you'll learn how to live"

Very confusing, but it works for me. Anyway, that's all I have to say. Ciao peepz!

The Things...

Okay, so after a very enjoyable yet irksome day, I realized that I had to make it clear what I disliked. I don't really dislike a lot of things and you might say "Oh God, some of these are soooo unethical." Well, tough luck, that's how I am.

1. People who ask REPETETIVE questions

In example:
[*]:What's the second closest star to earth?
[&]:Proxima Centauri
[*]:Come Again?
[&]:Proxima Centauri
[*]:Proxima what now?
[&]:Proxima Centauri...
[*]:Ahh... *Writes a bit down* What was that again?
[&]:Augh! Google it!

Well, see what I mean? It's really irritating, whoever the person is. Of course I could forgive someone who does it just occasionally and ONLY if I'm in a good mood. BUT COME ON, SOMEONE WHO DOES THAT EVERY SINGLE DAY IS INTOLERABLE IN EVERY SINGLE WAY!

2. People who promise but don't keep their word

Okay, so, yeah, a bit superficial but oh what the heck! I don't know why, but I don't really get angry, but it irritates me. Especially if this promise is something important. Of course forgiveness comes with even the late fulfillment of the promise but w/e.

3. People who do not show up at a planned practice for no good reason!

EVIDENTLY, these kinds of people are very irritating. They manage to make my blood boil, and I can literally feel the blood rushing to my face! It's so infuriatingly annoying that I find it absolutely stupid.

I mean come on, it was a planned practice and yet so many people find so many superficial reasons to not attend! I can understand a case of tonsilitis, but anything else is so stupid. I can't see why you can't stick around and at least get SOMETHING done even if someone else found a way to go home early. IF THERE'S A WILL THERE'S A WAY.

Oh and don't tell me it's because it's exam week. I DO NOT GIVE A DAMN. There are quite a number of days BEFORE THE EXAM to study. IN FACT, all the time that we are given lectures is a time for REVIEWING. SO DO NOT TELL ME YOU HAVE TO STUDY BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T LISTEN, THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM. ON ANOTHER HAND, DON'T TELL ME THAT YOU HAVE TO STUDY BECAUSE YOU DON'T GET THE LESSON, THERE'S A MAGICAL THING CALLED REVIEW TIME AFTER THE PRACTICE.

There, I'm done with my rant and I DO NOT EVEN WANT TO GIVE A PLEASANT END TO IT.

To Ye...

To you who is tired of going to school because of the bullying:

You're beautiful, you're handsome, you're not weird, you're unique, you're everything good in the world. I don't care if you're a million miles from where I stand, everyone deserves to be complimented. I don't care if I haven't seen you personally, it doesn't matter as long as your heart is true to itself. I don't care if I haven't seen you face-to-face, even if your face is marred with the troubles of a lifetime, everyone is beautiful/handsome in his/her own way.

To you who stands right now, alone and in the dark because no one accepts you:

There'll always be someone there for you. There will always be someone that will serve as your light. You can call me that someone if you want, tell me your woes and I will listen. Everyone deserves a companion, no matter how strange, no matter how disfigured, no matter how misshapen, NO MATTER HOW EVIL. Each and every person in this world has the claim to a true friend. I will embrace you, for Allah, God, Yahweh, whatever you wish to call the object of your faith, because no one deserves to be condemned to wander life alone. Be you atheist, cynic, hypocrite or firm believer, I will do my best to help you find the right path, because that's what those who love you would want.

To you who holds the means to end life in your hands, be it yours or another's:

Stop, do not condemn yourself to a horrid existence. Everyone deserves a second chance, even the sinners and the sinning. EVERYONE deserves a friend, someone who will stop you, someone who will stay your hand. I tell you now, I welcome you with open arms, maybe until you find someone to really be a friend of yours... Nevertheless, stop.

EVERYONE deserves a life worth keeping.

Sci-Fi RP

I was thinking about starting a Sci-Fi roleplay, of course, tied in with my series the planes of Shah'Haien. I'm going to start this post off with pretty much an advertisment of my, ehm... subjectively acclaimed roleplay, World of Sylfe.

World of Sylfe is for those high-fantasy fans who like to toy with alternate dimensions and probable timelines. Actually, World of Sylfe is just one of the roleplays that takes place in the world of Sylfe, or maybe we can call it Plane of Sylfe.

If you want to make a roleplay based IN this world, you would just have to read the articles ON world of Sylfe here: The Planes of Shah'Haien Wiki. After that, and you feel as though you have enough knowledge on the world, you can come to me, via either my forum, here, or in my e-mail: darkside1362@yahoo.com, So, I hope we can come to an agreement when it comes to this.

My Forum, by the way is here: The Planes of Shah'Haien Forum

So, here we go, the concept I have for the Sci-Fi RP is sorta a Nations RP with more of the traditional PBP Roleplay. So basically, the premise is that in this world, the Eternal Destiny is freely moving in the plane. Humans, however have basically taken over most of the adjacent areas of their original home. THAT original home has fallen to the so-called 'grey goo' event. In simpler terms, the original planet is now a mass of self-replicating nanobots.

All over the known universe, though, many galactic empires have sprung up. The two major races are the Humans and the Drakkan, dragon-like creatures that have developed advanced technology and a genetic mutation that has been isolated has allowed a few to be bipedal. The Humans and Drakkan are each split into multiple breeds, to be revealed later.

Now, the Nations aspect of the RP is that the roleplayers will create their own nations and advance those nations in their own ways in their own time. The traditional aspect would come from the fact that although there will be assigned leaders for each nation, the roleplayer will not only play HIM/HER but also another character that either has a place in the government, is a noble or is the day-to-day average joe, the quest? To stop what would be known as "The Maw" from swallowing the entire universe which, in fact, is the Eternal Destiny.

So, any takers?

DAMNIT! You do NOT blame me for what happenstance is liable for. I AM NOT GOD, THEREFORE I CANNOT CONTROL WHEN MY CLASSMATES WILL GO ONLINE!

I DO NOT CARE WHO THE H*LL YOU ARE, BUT OF ALL PEOPLE, I HATE THOSE THAT BLAME FOR NO APPARENT REASON.

Is it my F***ing fault that they only went online this late at night and that we must do these things? DO NOT WAIT FOR THE SOFT-SPOKEN TO FIND A VOICE! IF THAT HAPPENS IT WILL NEVER BE SOMETHING THAT YOU WANT.
